Admission/Enrollment

INFORMATION FOR 2024-2025 APPLICATION:
 
UPDATE:  The application period for the lottery closed January 31 and the lottery for the 2024-2025 school year will run February 14, 2024.  On March 1, 2024 the application re-opened.  However, all applications received at that time will be placed at the bottom of the waitlist established by the lottery.
 
 
 
The Academy for Classical Education is a state approved public charter school, authorized by the Georgia Charter Schools Commission.  Students residing in any county located in Georgia are eligible to attend. However, ACE does not provide transportation.

 

The pre-admission application will be available from January 1 - 31, 2024.  This application does not guarantee enrollment, but rather includes the child’s name in the lottery.  The pre-admission application will close at midnight on January 31, 2024. Individuals who do not have access to a computer may call 478-238-5757 to make an appointment to use a school computer.   PRE-ADMISSION APPLICATION

 

Applications will be accepted for all grade levels and the lottery will run for all grades.  Please note however, that Kindergarten is the only grade where we will have seats to fill. All other grade levels are full at this time but applicants for grades 1 – 12 will be added to the waitlist in the order determined by lottery. The waitlist is used in the event a student withdraws and a seat needs to be filled.   (Note:  Georgia law requires that a student be 5 years old as of September 1 for the year he/she is entering Kindergarten.)

The lottery will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. on the ACE campus.  You will receive an email no later than 5:00 p.m. on February 14 with the results.   If your child was selected for enrollment, you will then have 3 days to accept or decline the offer for enrollment.  If you fail to respond within 3 days, the offer will automatically be rescinded .   (Note:  The week before school starts for the 2024-2025  school year and throughout the school year, applicants will have 24 hours to respond.)
