Admission/Enrollment

The Academy for Classical Education is a state approved public charter school authorized by the Georgia Charter Schools Commission.  Students residing in any county located in Georgia are eligible to attend.
 
BEFORE applying, please make sure you read through the information below to have a better understanding of ACE’s curriculum/culture.
 
 
 
APPLYING FOR THE CURRENT 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR:
 
All grade levels are currently full. You may still apply; your application will be placed at the bottom of the waitlist.
PRE-ADMISSION APPLICATION
 
 
APPLYING FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR:

  • The Pre-Admission Application will be open January 1–31 each year on the ACE website.

  • Submitting this application does not guarantee enrollment; it enters your child into the lottery.

  • The application closes at 11:59 p.m. on January 31.

Grade availability

  • Applications are accepted for all grade levels (K–12).

  • Historically, only Kindergarten has available seats at the start of the school year.

  • For grades 1–12, applications build the waitlist in the order determined by the lottery and are used if a student withdraws and a seat opens.

Lottery information

  • The lottery will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2025
  • If your child's name is selected during the lottery, you will receive an email or text message before the end of the day on February 11.  You will then have 3 days to accept or deny the offer for enrollment.  If you fail to respond within 3 days (72 hours from the time you receive the notice) the offer will automatically be rescinded.

CAMPUS TOURS

While not required, we strongly encourage families to attend a tour.
Call 478-238-5757 to reserve a spot on one of the scheduled tour dates.

  • Advance sign-up is required.

  • Private tours are not available.
