Coach Avery is the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at ACE Academy. He is the defensive line coach for the Varsity football team and is entering his second season as Head Coach for the Track & Field program.
Coach Avery, a Macon native, graduated from Tattnall Square Academy. He continued his collegiate football career at the United States Air Force Academy playing outside linebacker. He later finished his career at Mercer University where he was a part of the first team in history to record ten wins in their inaugural season.

Coach Avery and his wife (Emily) have four children, Addey, Henry, Briggs, and Truett.
