Head Coach Lea Anne Walters
Lea Anne Walters is in her 5th year with the Gryphons Cross Country team. This is her 17th year teaching, and she has been teaching Jr. High Chorus and Musical Theatre at ACE for 9 years. An avid runner, Mrs. Walters has completed multiple marathons including the Boston Marathon in April of 2023. Coach Walters attended Mercer University where she received a Bachelor's in Music Education and a Master's in Choral Conducting. Her favorite runners to follow are Sara Hall, Deena Kastor, Emma Coburn, and Meb Keflezighi. Her family includes her husband, Jamie Walters, JD (7th Grade), Watson (5th grade), Katie Rose (2nd) and Happy the dog. 2019
